PART ONE from 1 to 2 PM - “2021 Health Insurance Updates: What You Need to Know” - Presented by: Janet Trautwein, NAHU National CEO

We'll beam Janet in via Zoom for an overview of the major health care and health insurance changes and updates that have occurred during the first 100 days of the Biden presidency. Included will be a look at some of the ways the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the health insurance industry.

PART TWO from 2 to 4 PM - "Beyond the Pandemic: Implications for the Medicare Market" - Presented by: Dwane McFerrin, CLU, CFP, RHU, CLTC, LLIF

The second part of the program will look at how the COVID-19 pandemic has altered patient care and what the long-term implications for the Medicare Market may look like as a result.  The program will include a review of recent policy changes or proposals that have effected or will effect the cost of Medicare and individual health plans, and the importance that telehealth has played for Medicare beneficiaries.  We'll also discuss various options to make Medicare more affordable for beneficiaries beyond the pandemic and the impact of Covid-19 on the Medicare market in recent months and how it may look in the coming years.

This program will provide three hours of HEALTH CEUs for both Nebraska and Iowa, pending approvals.

This program is open to ALL NAHU members for FREE, and $75 for non-members.  Guest fees can be paid online or at the door by cash, check or credit card.
