ACOs are a major priority for health insurance carriers, with an estimated more than 80% of claims paid through ACO systems by 2020. Two presenters -- Mike Schlosser, Account Executive with Aetna -- and David Wirka, Director of Reimbursement Strategy at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska -- will provide a detailed explanation of ACO systems. 

9:00 a.m.        Business Program Featuring Recognition of OAHU's 2015 Underwriter of the Year (Sam Nigro of Compass Benefits), Service to Mankind Award Recipient (Royal Family Kids - Camp #138 Omaha), and Election of 2016-17 Officers and Directors:

9:30 a.m.        “One-Stop Shopping for Healthcare"

Fergus Hoban, CEO of Think Whole Person Healthcare, a healthcare model with a large pilot center based in Omaha, will provide a detailed description of this new method to healthcare delivery. "Think" is a large-­?scale, team-­?based patient centered medical home – and a Medicare MSSP and Blue Cross ACO. 

The CE programs will provide two hours of HEALTH CEUs for Nebraska & Iowa, pending approvals.

Proceeds from this event will be donated to Royal Family Kids - Camp #138 Omaha.
