Employers (and their health insurance advisors) continue to adapt to a “new normal.” And while 2014 and 2015 were the years of new rules and regulations, 2016 is proving to be the year of compliance and reporting.

Our Summer CE Seminar on August 18 will include a wealth of timely information on some critically important topics.  

In the first part of the program Carolyn McNairy --  Sales Development Director of Compliance Services for Total Administrative Services Corporation (TASC) -- will include an overview on changes to the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).  You'll develop a better understanding of employer rights under the FMLA, along with Qualifying Events, types of Leave, notification requirements and solutions to handling some tricky situatons.  Carolyn will also provide some updates on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) including a summary of changes for 2016 reporting, and other issues related to ERISA.

The second part of the program will feature Autumn Noble, JD of McGrath North Law Firm in Omaha discussing how the new Department of Labor Fiduciary Rules affect both Life AND Health Insurance agents.  She will cover compliance requirements, risks of non-compliance, and other important business considerations that you need to be aware of.
