Dwane will provide insight into the trends and future of Medicare long with additional information designed to help you take advantage of the growing senior market.  Included will be discussions of the following:

• What is the role of NAHU for Medicare and what are the legislative and regulatory priorities?
• What are the changes to Medicare Supplement in 2020 that affect pricing and availability of popular Plan F and G?
• How will MAPD and PDP commissions pay for 2017 and what impact does prorated commissions have on the industry?
• Why is the Medicare market growing and what makes the individual market so attractive?
• How are consolidations impacting consumers and what major employers are dropping traditional group retiree coverage?
• How has technology changes allowed an agent to increase productivity?

The final hour of the program will be presented by Russ Gronewald, CFO of Bryan Health in Lincoln. Russ will provide an update as to how Medicare expansion and the ACA continue to affect hospitals and the healthcare marketplace, and expectations for moving forward.  

This program will provide three hours of Life & Health continuing education credits for both Nebraska & Iowa, pending approvals.
